The Leawood City Land Bank held its required annual meeting and then the Leawood City Council held its first regular session of 2026: officers were sworn in, two long-serving council members were recognized, the council accepted a $3,565 donation from the Cloisters Homeowners Association, adopted amendments to the public art policy, and referred a Mission Road engineering study to the Public Works Committee.
