At its organizational meeting, the Ulster County Legislature administered the oath of office to incoming legislators, elected Peter Criswell as chair by a 19–4 roll call, appointed Victoria Febella as clerk, created standing committees and adopted four organizational resolutions by a 23–0 vote.
