Council adopted routine business, recognized local contractor John Star of Better Builders, approved a resolution supporting federal recognition for the Concow Valley Band of Maidu Indians, authorized a letter to Caltrans seeking a safety and feasibility study for Highway 70 widening, approved a side letter to the Police Officers Association with a 5% pay adjustment using deleted vacancies to offset cost, and heard a new youth Future Leaders pilot program. Several infrastructure and parks contracts were approved.
