At its Jan. 7, 2026 regular meeting, the Butte-Silver Bow Council of Commissioners created an ad hoc committee to evaluate a proposed billion-dollar data center, opened and referred multiple chemical supply bids to public works, held a sole-source hearing for wastewater equipment parts, discussed the process to appoint an interim District 10 commissioner, and approved four resolutions on final reading.
