The State Water Resources Control Board met in Sacramento in a hybrid session on Jan. 6, 2026. The board recognized staff for wildfire drinking-water response, heard public requests to extend the Bay-Delta Plan comment period and address tribal and civil-rights concerns, adopted meeting minutes and an amendment for chloride objectives in the Los Angeles River, and received a detailed hydrologic conditions briefing from state and federal partners.
