Charlotte County Punta Gorda MPO board met March 31, 2025, and moved the interim MPO director into the permanent executive director role, approved two TIP amendments, reviewed the draft 2050 LRTP needs and project priorities, received FDOT updates on funding and program changes, heard a presentation on State Road 776 safety improvements, and received a demonstration and cost estimate for emergency-vehicle preemption technology.
