The Henderson County Board of Education approved the 2025–26 school calendar and unanimously approved a pilot K–5 alternative learning center at Lexington High School to address rising disruptive behavior; board members also reviewed quarterly threat reporting, heard a legislative briefing from Board Member Mike Tate, and recognized teachers and the district principal of the year.
