Board took the first order of business to elect officers. A motion was made to appoint Davis as chair for 2026; members moved/seconded and the motion carried after a brief request from one commissioner that the chair role rotate. Commissioners then appointed Clerk Limholz as vice chair; motion carried.
Morrow County Board of Commissioners held a regular meeting covering board leadership elections, departmental reports (district attorney, public health, fair board, public works), land-use decisions including a second reading/adoption of an ordinance designating the Doherty/Blue Rock quarry as a large significant site, budget adjustments and several contract approvals, and a tabled easement for a Pacific Corp substation pending survey/legal clarification.
