Madera County Board of Supervisors held a special reorganization meeting in Oakhurst where supervisors elected Bobby McCauley chair and Jordan Wamhoff vice chair, adopted several budget transfers for public protection projects and jail improvements, approved a Gateway Charter with the National Park Service, and heard proclamations and public comment on local issues including short-term rentals, roads, and human trafficking prevention funding.
