City Council heard more than two hours of public comment and a heated land-use debate over a proposed expansion and rezoning for Apna Bazaar on Beach Boulevard. Council voted to re-refer the land-use amendment and companion PUD back to Land Use & Zoning after residents raised concerns about trucks, stormwater, permitting and a previously proposed live‑animal processing component.
