The Utah Wildlife Board met in Farmington to hear updates and take actions on wildlife management topics including law-enforcement guidance on drones and thermals, a division-led 3-year cougar (mountain lion) study, extensive public comment on that study, black bear permit recommendations including creation of a Dolores Triangle unit, and several rule proposals. The board approved multiple rule changes and an agreed settlement in an appeal.
