Milwaukee Common Council Community Economic Development Committee held a regular meeting in early January 2026. The committee confirmed several business improvement district appointments, approved acceptance/applications for grant funding (HUD Continuum of Care and a WEDC Vibrant Spaces application), advanced youth employment and library-metrics resolutions, and scheduled a special meeting to finalize a community fund allocation.
