Legislative counsel Bradley Shillman presented an overview of multiple 2025 agriculture-related acts passed out of committee, including grants for food distribution, a cottage-food exemption, miscellaneous agriculture changes affecting pesticides, stormwater and producer responsibility, protections for farmers from nuisance suits, CAFO/ water-quality clarifications, and a proposed Farm Security Special Fund for weather losses.
