The Vermont Food Bank updated an unnamed legislative committee on the Vermonters Feeding Vermonters program, reporting purchases of local food, spending to date, and a request for additional funding. The food bank said it purchased produce from 17 farms, has invoiced or spent most initial appropriations, and will seek a $1.5 million budget adjustment and a larger FY27 request.
