Chair Supervisor Connie Chan called the meeting to order and opened the October 29, 2025 Budget & Finance Committee session; she introduced Vice Chair Supervisor Matt Dorsey, Supervisor Cheyenne Chen and clerk Brent Halepa and thanked SFgovTV for streaming the meeting.
San Francisco Budget & Finance Committee on 2025-10-29 considered six items: a proposed Small Business Rezoning Construction Relief Fund, release of $9.9M for the Community Safety Ambassador program, an 18‑month lease extension for an observation wheel at Fisherman’s Wharf, a $95M bus overhaul contract, temporary rent relief for SFO duty‑free operator DFS, and state grant applications for transitional housing for youth. Several items were forwarded to the full Board or continued for additional work.
