Sarasota County commissioners held a workshop April 9, 2025, on a proposed land-transaction to allow the Hi Hat Ranch master developer to access Bee Ridge Road across county-owned land. Staff reviewed the master development order, transport/mobility-fee rules and deal history; the board gave policy guidance to proceed with drafting an agreement, 3–2.
