The House Commerce & Economic Development Committee heard from Jeff Lawson, vice president of tourism at the Lake Champlain Chamber and co-chair of a state task force, on a feasibility study exploring a convention center and performing-arts venues in Greater Burlington and the funding challenges such a project would face.
