At its 2026 reorganization meeting, the Orange County School Board elected Darlene Dawson chair and Jack Rickett vice chair, approved officer assignments and the 2026 meeting schedule, authorized signature designees, approved negotiating an interim contract with Gilbane Construction for a high school CTE facility, and declared multiple vehicles (including eight school buses) surplus.
