At a Jan. 12, 2026 special meeting, the Mineola Union Free School District Board of Education waived the 24-hour notice requirement, rescinded a prior suspension action, suspended a separate employee with pay pending review of an investigatory report, appointed Deputy Superintendent Katherine Fishman as acting superintendent through the next meeting on Jan. 22, 2026, and adjourned without entering executive session.
