Bend City Council heard a presentation from the Latino Community Association about rising deportations and community needs, paused renewal of its Flock Safety ALPR contract after police described several investigations aided by the cameras, and heard extensive public comment on both the Flock system and a contested Petrosa affordable-housing project. The council also approved an economic improvement district study for the Bend Central District, adopted the 2025 Stormwater Master Plan, advanced several transportation projects (including an eminent-domain authorization for a Butler Market/Boyd Acres bikeway intersection), and continued work on an electrification policy committee to a Feb. 11 work session.
