Brevard County Board of County Commissioners met in regular session in January 2026. The board adopted a proclamation naming March 21, 2026, “Space Coast Day,” heard a public presentation and extended discussion on PFAS (forever chemicals) with a direction to staff to develop public-facing notifications and a web page, and directed staff to draft materials for possible reinstatement of a residential PACE financing program. Several routine land-acquisition and procurement items were approved.
