The Kyrene Elementary District (4267) Governing Board met on Jan. 13, 2026. The board held its annual organizational meeting, elected Trina Nelson as board president and Amy Satri as vice president, heard a superintendent update and student recognitions, received public comment about recent school-closure decisions, and received a transportation update including plans for rolling middle-school stops and an ongoing bus-driver shortage.
