Atascadero City Council met for a regular session that included staff updates on capital projects and community programs, a public hearing and adoption of updates to the city’s accessory dwelling unit (ADU) ordinance (including a 5-foot height allowance for sloped lots), approval of nuisance-abatement lien recovery for 4543 Yerba Avenue, and acceptance of the FY2024–25 annual road report. The council also heard a presentation and provided feedback on SLOCOG’s draft countywide transportation expenditure plan for a proposed half-cent sales tax measure.
