The Verona Common Council met on Jan. 12, 2026, and approved a preliminary and final planned development for a 116‑unit apartment building at 511 West Verona Avenue, adopted a citywide public‑comment ordinance, and approved a series of consent items including payment of bills, liquor-license and parking-ordinance changes, engineering agreements, tourism-room‑tax agreement amendments and an EV‑charging site‑host agreement with Dane County.
