Hermosa Beach City Council met Jan. 13, 2026. The council introduced an ordinance to amend home-occupation rules, approved pre-construction owner’s-rep services for a city yard project, funded a temporary crossing guard at 5th & PCH through the school year, approved several staffing and capital contracts, and directed staff to return with options on commercial encroachment fees and enforcement for decommissioned interior space.
