Chair Chris Kias called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m., took roll, and asked for approval of the Dec. 10, 2025 minutes; Roth asked for unanimous consent and the committee approved the minutes. Chair noted no public comments and financial reports were on file.
Kane County Administration Committee met on Jan. 14, 2026. Topics included an IT presentation on DOJ web-accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) compliance and an April 24, 2026 deadline, several emergency purchase ratifications (including dry-out services after a sprinkler failure at the sheriff's office), contracts for landscaping and Microsoft licensing, vehicle purchases, an intergovernmental agreement for volunteer site restoration, and discussion of a policy for disposition of county property.
