The Ellisville Board of Zoning Appeals met Jan. 14, 2026, and approved two variance petitions: (1) Harmon Farms LLC to allow 0-foot side-yard setbacks on a subset of interior lots and to remove the requirement for town driveway/right-of-way permits for rear-loaded homes served by private alleys, and (2) a variance allowing septic systems at 4601 West McNeely Street (Ripley minor subdivisions), with the board approving the relief for all four lots. Staff recommended approval of both requests; fire and utility access issues were discussed and staff said the homeowners association (HOA) will manage private alleys.
