At its Jan. 8 meeting, the Town of Lakeville Board of Assessors approved an abatement to remove two decades-old uncollectible personal-property accounts from the roll, reviewed statutory exemption signatures and a draft taxpayer brochure, discussed a mentoring/staffing plan for a new assessor, and moved into an executive session to discuss the assessment of a nonprofit property pursuant to cited state law.
