Ware County Board of Commissioners held a January work session in Waycross to review airport leases and expansion, short-road paving priorities and a local road contract bid, a parks master-plan update for pickleball courts, a proposed rezoning for vehicle storage at 2590 Cactus Street, several routine reappointments and grants, and a discussion of pilot waste-drop sites. Most items were carried to the regular meeting for formal action.
