The Will County Finance Committee met and approved two resolutions abating taxes on general-obligation bond series, several budget appropriations and transfers, and a health-department budget amendment. Members also discussed an enterprise-zone sales-tax exemption for a $25 million warehouse rerack project in Wilmington and debated whether to resurface a previously rejected federal scholarship tax-credit (SGO) referral to the full board.
