San Francisco Planning Commission held its first hearing of 2026 on Jan. 15, taking public comment and voting to advance multiple land-use items, including a planning-code amendment to ease alcohol sales at neighborhood movie theaters and informational reviews of large housing projects on Seawall Lot 330 (555 Beale) and smaller infill proposals.
