Allentown School District held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new Family and Community Resource Center at Bridgeview Academy. District leaders, elected officials and design teams described a three-phase project that includes a community resource center, a 6–12 expansion and a multipurpose athletic space; the district said it secured a $522,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development to support the work.
