Sedgwick County commissioners held an agenda-read briefing ahead of the Jan. 21 meeting to review appointments, zoning items, procurement items and a proposed constitutional amendment (referred to as SCR 1616) that would cap assessed-value growth at 3%. Commissioners asked staff to prepare a concise white paper using Sedgwick County data to send to state lawmakers and placed the item on the legislative agenda.
