The Metropolitan Area Planning Commission met in December and unanimously recommended rezoning a 10.6-acre parcel near North Grand Avenue and West Oxford Avenue from C-3 commercial to R-4 residential (duplex) and forwarded the recommendation to the mayor and board of commissioners; the meeting also approved previous minutes and the 2026 meeting schedule.
