At its Nov. 13, 2025 meeting, the Lynchburg Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend denial of GRIT Land Company LLC's petition to amend the future land use map and rezone 0.267 acres at 286 Rockwell Road from B-3 (Community Business) to B-5 C (General Business) to allow off-site advertising for a shed business. The commission approved the meeting minutes and adjourned; the matter will proceed to City Council.
