Oak Harbor Parks & Recreation Advisory Board heard a youth-led presentation asking the city to fund a feasibility study for a year‑round community recreation center; the board voted to ask council to place the group on the January agenda. Members also discussed a state DNR/community forestry grant and priorities for 2024 including trail, park, and facility projects, and debated restroom closures, park hours and security after repeated vandalism.
