The Glenwood Springs Planning & Zoning Commission met May 27 to consider a pair of design variances for a remodel at 515 11th Street and a suite of staff-initiated code amendments covering accessory dwelling units, design standards (stucco and paint), hotel definitions and minor administrative corrections. The commission approved the roof-pitch variance and, after debate, approved a variance to permit garage access to Bennett Avenue; it also approved multiple code changes and sent recommendations to city council where required.
