Glenview Board of Trustees met Aug. 5, 2025, and spent much of the evening debating whether to retain a 1% municipal grocery tax after the state plans to eliminate its equivalent; staff will provide further analysis and the board signaled it wants the matter addressed in upcoming budget workshops. The meeting also included a presentation of a downtown parking study and routine consent and land-use approvals.
