The Grand Junction Planning Commission met Jan. 13, 2026. Commissioners unanimously recommended several annexations and rezonings, approved a two-year extension of a conditional use permit for the C & A Half gravel pit with revised trail easement and permit conditions, remanded a narrow stormwater/open-space clause in a package of code amendments for further staff work, left the Housing Affordability Task Force bicycle-parking proposal without a commission recommendation after extended debate, approved staff's pedestrian-access revisions, and forwarded a revision to the impact-fee review schedule to City Council.
