The Criminal Justice & Public Safety committee met in work sessions on multiple public-safety bills, including confidentiality for peer-support (LD 882), law enforcement wellness and retention (LD 1980), Good Samaritan training (LD 1646), disclosure of officer credibility information (LD 1671), and youth-justice reform including Long Creek repurposing (LD 1923) and youth diversion/probation work (LD 740). Several items were tabled for additional language; LD 740 was reported as "ought to pass as amended."
