Commission President Joseph O'Connor called the Dec. 16 meeting to order, gave the time and location, and introduced fellow commissioners and officers: Lila Eldridge (Marion County auditor and commission secretary) and Barbara Martins (identified as Marion County Treasurer and vice president of the commissioners).
The Marion County Commissioners met Dec. 16, 2025, and approved transfers of county-owned surplus parcels including a six-parcel transfer to the Department of Metropolitan Development and a single parcel to Aspire House for a solar canopy and community green space. The board reappointed and swore in Thomas Hanafi to the Health and Hospital Board, extended the township poor-relief hearing contract with Jackie Butler through 2026, approved minutes and adjourned.
