The board recognized National Recovery Month, National Emergency Preparedness Month, and Workforce Development Month; continued an airport rate hearing to Oct. 7 to include CPI revisions; approved 2026 non‑PERS employee benefit renewals and set open enrollment dates; and noted a permanent pull of a Meals on Wheels federal grant due to elimination of funding.
