At the May 21 Sigurd Town Council meeting, councilors heard a multi-part update on the town water system (chlorinator problems and a proposed booster-pump/valve fix), invited retired fire chief Paul Wilkinson to review and mediate longstanding fire-department issues, discussed parks/cemetery maintenance and a proposed meter pilot, and reviewed a tentative FY budget of about $408,940 to be adopted at a future meeting.
