Chair Bill Plucker opened the hearing, reviewed ground rules for testimony (in-person and Zoom), advised that testimony is public and archived, and invited committee members to introduce themselves (Representative Mark Cooper, Dean Craig, Caldwell Jackson, Senator Black, Representative Tim Jarette, Jim Dill, Sharon Frost).
Public hearing of the Joint Standing Committee on Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry on several bills including LD 2006 (Bureau of Parks and Lands land conveyances), LD 2004 (nutrition incentive eligibility), LD 2026 (agricultural fair stipend distributions), LD 2040 (pilot food insecurity survey), and LD 2039 (LUPC Chapter 1 fee schedule review). Committee took testimony from sponsors, agency directors, nonprofit and industry representatives and held a work session and roll call vote on LD 2006.
