At its Sept. 4, 2025 meeting the Lucas City Council approved a consent agenda and three major land and public-safety items: an SUP allowing a 1,499-sq.-ft. accessory dwelling unit, a resolution to pursue formation of a Lucas Police Department, and the Lucas Crossing preliminary plat; the council took no final action on a requested right-of-way license and directed staff to negotiate an access agreement after an executive session.
