Prince William County Planning Commission held a public hearing on Oct. 15, 2025 to consider three related rezoning applications (Hawthorne, Alderwood, Longleaf at Kettle Run), two countywide zoning text amendments, and related proffers. Commissioners recommended approval of the three rezonings after applicant and staff presentations and extended public comment raising concerns about traffic, schools, wells, stormwater and rural character.
