Staff from the Legislative Education Study Committee presented a policy brief on strengthening bilingual and multicultural education in New Mexico, reviewing models, funding, teacher preparation and assessment limits, then outlined recommendations including a statewide working group. The panel was followed by a separate presentation on the new state school accreditation rollout, dashboard and support structure.
