Chair Jeff Gee called the special meeting to order at San Francisco City Hall and Secretary noted absences (Director El Tewansa and Director Lipkin) and that alternates David Amule was ill. The board established a quorum and welcomed new AC Transit alternate director Jean Walsh.
The Transbay Joint Powers Authority Board held a special meeting Jan. 30, 2025, in San Francisco City Hall to receive routine reports, approve consent items and budget projections, hear the audited financial report, and review a detailed three-year master schedule and funding plan for the Downtown Rail Extension (the Portal/DTX). The board approved an interagency implementation MOU to support Portal implementation and authorized several routine lease and policy amendments.
