Mount Sinai Union Free School District board and Superintendent Dr. Cristiani held a town hall to present a proposed $27,993,000 bond package to address roofs, bathrooms, roadways, playgrounds and other infrastructure needs; the district estimates an average homeowner tax increase of $221 per year and scheduled a public vote for Sept. 25. The meeting included a project overview, cost breakdown, questions about roadway and parking changes, and instructions for online materials and comment submission.
