Columbia Borough Council met Jan. 27, 2026. Council approved routine minutes and payments, authorized a records-destruction resolution, voted to reallocate leftover riverfront grant funds to a 4th & Mill outfall repair request to DCED, approved multiple contractor payments for Maco Park phase 1, approved demolition at 240 Riverfront and several Certificates of Appropriateness, and tabled the borough manager contract to a February workshop. Public comments focused on private contractors plowing borough streets and questions about ICE and renter protections.
